planting chili

The Chili Plant Experience

Orientation
A few months ago, my English teacher gave us a special assignment: to grow chili plants at home. I was excited but also nervous because I had never done it before. I decided to plant the chilies in front of my house using a small pot and soil I prepared by myself.

Complication
At first, I didn’t know if I was doing it right. I just put the chili seeds into the soil and watered them once a day. But after a few days, the weather was very hot, and I forgot to water them regularly. The soil became dry, and the seeds didn’t grow. I was a bit disappointed and thought the seeds wouldn’t survive.

Resolution
Then I started being more careful. I watered them every morning and moved the pot to a better spot with enough sunlight. After some time, I saw small green sprouts. I was so happy! A few weeks later, the chili plant grew taller and started to produce little green chilies.

Reorientation
Now, the chili plant is still in front of my house, and I keep taking care of it. From this experience, I learned that growing plants needs patience and responsibility. I’m proud that I didn’t give up, and now I can see the result of my hard work.
